What are the Roman Numerals chord progressions in the pop piano and rhythm guitar experience?

In traditional music theory, Roman numerals (I, II, III, IV, and so on) represent both the degrees of the major scale and the chord quality of each chord. Uppercase Roman numerals represent major chords, while lowercase numerals represent minor chords.

Which DAWs are supported?

Since Mictic sends out MIDI data, any DAW can be used. We currently provide M4L plugins. VST and AU plugins are on the roadmap.

Why is there no Android version from day zero?

Developing apps for Android is magnitudes more complex than for iOS because of the vast amount of hardware and software versions out there. We are all about providing a great user experience and would rather have people wait a little longer than delivering a half baked product.

Is there a chord mode?

Yes, where the instrument would naturally allow you to play chords we have added a chord mode to the instrument.

Can you go microtonal?

When you use Mictic as a MIDI controller, absolutely. When you use Mictic via the app you can do so for the string instruments.

How do the scales work?

Mictic works in two modes, regular or pro. If you set the app to pro you can define your scales for the instruments. If you set it to regular you get a C minor and C major scale as “sad” and “happy” scales.
