Why is my instrument experience performing funny?

Be sure that your left and right hand setting are correct. Your right wristband should blink blue and your left hand wristband blinks green. If that's not the case, adjust them in the settings.

When I'm using Mictic, sometimes the spatial sounds and experiences don't consistently appear at the same spot. Why?

There could be a few reasons for this: 1. Important to know that the Mictic sensors are sensitive to magnetic devices. It's always best to give yourself a little space away from laptops, tablets, and cell phones. 2. It's always recommended to re-calibrate the device between different features and experiences, specially if you move into a new environment such as a different room or whether you're inside or outside. Feel free to hit up our team if the problem persists. We're here to help! info@mictic.com

How tight do I have to wear the wristbands?

The idea is to find the right balance of comfort and firmness. You'll get the very best experience by making sure that the sensors do not move or shake around on your wrist. But at the same time, of course we don't want you to cut off your blood supply to your fingers! :) Put them on then move, shake and dance around until you have the right fit for you. You'll get it!

What kind of sensors are you using?

The sensors we use are called Inertial Measurement Units (IMU) they consist of a gyroscope, an accelerometer and a magnetometer, with the gyroscope being the one we rely on most. We run them at max capacity, you can find the details in the spec sheet, simply look for Bosch BMI160 and you will find the product page which contains the data sheet.
